이에 아주대학교는 시대가 요구하는 대학의 책임을 다하기 위해 지속가능발전목표 달성에 적극적으로 참여할 것을 아래와 같이 선언합니다.

아주대학교는 “가치창출과 혁신으로 미래를 바꾸는 대학”이라는 비전 아래, UN의 지속가능발전목표(SDGs)에 기여하고자 많은 노력을 기울일 것입니다.

학생들의 글로벌 역량을 개발하여 다양한 문화 및 국가적 배경을 가진 개인과 생산적으로 교류할 수 있는 기술을 보유할 수 있도록 교육합니다.

SDGs에 대한 새로운 솔루션을 추구하기 위해 공공 및 민간 이해관계자와 협력하여 국경을 초월한 연구, 지식 공유 및 혁신에 전념합니다.

아주대학교는 2050년 탄소중립을 실현하기 위한 다양한 감축과제를 단계적으로 도입하여 미래세대를 위한 환경적 책임을 다하고 이를 통해 기후변화에 대응합니다.

아주대학교는 2050 탄소중립 실현을 위해 2050년까지 탄소 배출량을 최대한 줄이고 남아있는 탄소를 흡수해 순배출량을 ‘0’으로 맞추는 ‘탄소중립’ 달성을 목표로 삼겠습니다.

아주대학교는 탄소중립 사회로의 전환을 촉진하기 위해 과학적 분석과 객관적 데이터에 기반하여 에너지. 수송, 건물 등 부문별 이행안을 마련합니다.

To achieve carbon neutrality by 2050, Ajou University will reduce carbon emissions as much as possible by 2050 and absorb the remaining carbon to set net emissions to zero.
